My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author,  Anne Cetas  …  USE THS LNK  -        …  told of a friend, named Christine, who was visiting her Aunt and Uncle for dinner; … and before they ate, Christine’s uncle, who was not a Christian, but knowing that Christine was, asked if anyone had anything to say, which was his way of asking for prayer from Christine.  And knowing that her aunt was suffering from a serious illness, Christine took the opportunity to pray for a healing miracle from God.

And the incident reminded the ODB author of many promises from God’s word, like the one in The Highlight Passage and others from God’s word like those shared above, all of which show believers that God hears the prayers of those who come to The Lord in faith, … asking for things that are in God’s will.  Personally, that opens the door for my prayers this very day.   How  about you?  Got anything you need to bring to God today? 

My Thanksgiving:… Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … Lord … for Your promise to hear my prayers today … and tomorrow.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... for calling for us to pray for those concerns we might think are in Your will   … Amen
