My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Cindy Hess Kasper … USE THS LNK - … told of stopping on a long road trip and encountering a young man, mopping the floors in a rest-stop and singing the familiar song, “it Is Well With My Soul,” (use the song link), and the OBD author joined the young man to sing the chorus together. And returning to author’s car, her husband ask why she had such a joyous smile on her face.
Spontaneously singing praises to God, which is called for by the Scriptures shared above, and telling of our praises to God, will certainly lift our Spirits, won’t it? And today’s ODB entry, as well as the linked song, has certainly lifted me up today. How about you?
My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, …and praise You, Lord … for all the mercy and goodness You’ve showered on me.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... thank You, Lord, as we praise You for all the goodness in our lives. … Amen
