My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Bill Crowder …  USE THIS LINK       wrote about the reign of terror brought on the world by Genghis Kahn in the 12th century as he conquered more lands that had Alexander The Great in creating a vast kingdom on the earth at that time.   The comparison by the ODB author was with Satan’s attempt to rule over the lives of Christians as described by The Apostle Peter in the highlight passage (i.e., 1Peter 5:6-12).  

I pray my readers have taken in the linked song and the Scriptures cited above to realize, and have faith, that Christians has more power to defeat the ploys and power of Satan with the Holy Spirit residing in them (us).  As God’s word says, we (i.e.., Christians) need to respect but not fear Satan, who will do all he can to oppose Christians as they (we) attempt to share God’s good news with others in this word.  Let’s go forth today, my fellow Christians, knowing that Your Spirit, Lord, is in us.     

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You … for Your Spirit giving me Your power to do battle against Satan.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, … for giving Your chosen Your power to do battle against Satan and his demons.   … Amen
