My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Kirsten Holmberg …  USE THIS LINK      relates the findings of an archeological team, led by Jodi Magness, who uncovered many mosaics, paintings, and carvings depicting the times of Deborah … when, as reported in the Highlight passages in today’s ODB entry, was Judge in Israel and led them to defeat the Canaanites.

And if my readers have taken in today’s ODB entry and meditated on the linked song and the Scriptures above, I’m hoping you are as convicted -- as I was - to take down our egos and rely on God’s strength when we are challenged in the battles of life.  That’s where I am today!   How about you?

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, … for lifting us up with Your strength when we’re feeling weakened to take on today’s battles.   … Amen
