<My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Katara Patton …  USE THIS LINK    related a personal story about being in a Bible class when she was younger and hearing all the negative talk and being led to testify to her classmates that all the negative talk did not reflect the reality of what God has promised to/for born-again Christians. And the class reminded the ODB author of Job’s friends who did fine to help their friend (see Highlight passages), Job, until they opened their mouths with negative thoughts.  

And if my fellow Christian readers, have taken in the linked song and the Scriptures shared above, I’m praying we all recognize and remember all of God’s promises, including those from Himself and His disciples, that we serve a God who promises to ALWAYS be with us to overcome our trials and troubles.   Personally, I need to remember all those promises, knowing that I have troubles which lie ahead. How about you?”  

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You … for promising to be with me as I face many trials ahead of me.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, … for Your promises of care and protection as we face the trials of life.   … Amen
