Devotional Song: Go to this link –
Please, PLEASE, PLEASE take your time to see a video of the poignant truth in song, performed by the group Avalon, singing Testify To Love, a proclamation that our lives are a testimony of God’s love as long as we live as Christ lived as testimony of His Father’s love.
=============
Highlight Passage #1a - NLT: Exodus 31: 18

Reference Passage #2: John 3: 16 … [NLT]
16 “For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. …”
Reference Passage #3: 1st John 5: 10 … [NLT]
10 All who believe in the Son of God know in their hearts that this testimony is true. Those who don’t believe this are actually calling God a liar because they don’t believe what God has testified about His Son.
My Journal for Today: When God, on Mount Sinai, crafted the Ten Commandments by His own finger into those tablets of stone for His people, they were God’s testimony of love through His Law to help His children see their sinful nature and to follow His protective watch-care and mercy. And the Ark of the Covenant (or Testimony) became a vehicle of God, the Father, giving eternal testimony to His love for His children. And the way His children carried the Ark became their testimony or witness of obedience or disobedience to God.
And God’s greatest testimony of love to all mankind became brightest and clearest in the incarnation of His Son, Jesus, whose life was a testimony of God’s love. His life, death on the cross, and especially His resurrection from the dead, was God’s loudest witness of His plan of redemption for all of mankind.
Do you realize that our lives are a testimony of something … either of our selves or our Savior? As we live our lives, we either testify, by our choices and actions, of God’s love or we declare the testimony of our sin nature. So, today, as we go about living, are we going to, as the song sung by Avalon (linked above), TESTIFY TO LOVE; … or … will we witness to our base human self?
Please know that everything we say or do will be a testimony for Satan, for self, or for the Savior. So, what will be our testimony, … our witness, today?
My Prayer for Today … Lord, help me to testify to Your love today in everything I think, say, or do. … Amen
