My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread Author , James Banks -  AT THIS LINK -  - tells of Abraham Lincoln’s call for his nation to pray:  “It is the duty of nations as well as of men to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God: to confess their sins and transgressions in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon.”

Well, as we read in today’s ODB entry, … under the stresses of leading a nation, seeking peace in a civil war, President Lincoln called His fellow countrymen to fast and pray.  And the ODB entry today also, thru the Scriptures above, calls on God’s faithful to humbly pray for God’s restoring peace, … showing also that God promises to hear any/all humble and faithful prayers.

So, my fellow Christian readers … let’s pray, … today and on into all our tomorrows !!!

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for hearing all my prayers.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me, … to pray for Your restoring grace, Lord.   … Amen
