My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread author , Tim Gustafson - AT THIS LINK - shows how the story of the gifts that The Magi gave to Jesus - in faith that He was The Messiah - reveal the glory and divinity of Jesus (Gold and Frankincense) as well as the Myrrh which represented Jesus’ future death to save mankind.
And the ODB author wanted his readers (yes, that’s us!) to see that God has given us the greatest gift of all when He died to free us from our sin. Have you received His free gift of life by surrendering - in faith - to believe in Him? I pray so!!!
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me Your merciful saving grace.
