My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author , Patricia Raybon -  AT THIS LINK -   tells of hearing the wild screeching of songbirds near the author’s home on a summer night, … noting later that a hawk had flown into their midst; and the loud cawing being a warning for the songbirds to fly free from the predator hawk.  

And this event reminded the ODB author of God’s warning to those who follow Christ, of false prophets, who will come as wolves in sheep’s clothing (see photo) or as roaring lions  prowling, … all to devour the weak sheep in God’s flock.  

And I’m here to give witness (in the scriptures above) to God’s willingness to give Christians, like you and me, His warning in God’s thruth (i.e., His word) of the way - by God’s empowering and protective grace, to be able to fly free from those dangers.  But, … are we seeking God’s protection thru His word today?  I am; … how about you?                

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me Your protective love and grace today thru Your word, Lord.  

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me, … to humbly seek Your protective grace again today, Lord..    Amen
