My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread  Author , Cindy Hess Kasper -  AT THIS LINK -  shows how two fellow Christians, Charley and Jan, after eating breakfast in a local diner; and seeing that the diner was short staffed, humbly decided to wash dishes to help the diner serve their customers.  

These two, humbly serving others, reminded the ODB author of Jesus washing the feet of His Disciples (see Highlight passage) to show them what humble service to others looks like: and demanding that kind of service from them (and us).  How’re we doing these days when it comes to serving our Lord by serving others?  I, for one, could do more?                 

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me the opportunity and strength to humbly serve others. 

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me, … to humbly seek to serve You, Lord, by serving others.    Amen
