My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread  Author, Amy Boucher Pie  -  AT THIS LINK - relates the story of an African mother, named Genevieve, whose three children were born blind because of congenital cataracts.  But Genevieve heard of a ministry, called “Mercy Ships,” where the Doctors onboard did surgery to help those like her children.  And so Genevieve took her children to the vessel which came to their area and the surgeons removed the cataracts, … giving all three children their sight to allow them to see the world clearly.  

And the ODB story illustrates that we need God’s merciful healing of our sin-darkened eyes, … so that we - thru our eyes of faith - will be able to trust and follow God’s light out from the cataracts of sin covering our eyes and to follow God’s light, being able to see with eyes of faith.  Oh, how I pray this morning that all who read with me here have the eyes of faith to see and follow God’s light, … following Him all the way to glory.                                     

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving eyes to see and follow Your light, Lord.  

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me today, … to follow Your glorious light, Lord, as You graciously lead us to Your glory.     … Amen
