My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread Author, Karen Pimpo - AT THIS LINK - used an illustration of putting on new glasses to see things so much clearer; but having to get used the new frames which were painful for awhile in getting use to wearing the new glasses.

And that’s an apt illustration of what it’s like when see and follow the light of Christlikeness when we are born-agin and wear the light of Christ in our lives. And if my readers are truly Christians, you likely remember how it was difficult to put on the robes of Christlikeness and walk in His light rather than return to the darkness of our sin nature.

And it’s been over 40 years for me to walk in the light of Christ and I still have to put on Christ’s robes of rightness EVERY DAY rather than to choose to walk in the darkness of my flesh. Can you identify, … maybe even empathize … with me? Well, let’s pray that we can put on Christ’s robes again today and shine Christ’s light for all to see Him in us as we CHOOSE to live and walk in His light.

My THANKFULNESS:... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me Your light to follow every day thru Your word.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me today, … to walk Your path, Lord; following the light of Your word every day. … Amen
