My Devotional Journal: Today’s  Our Daily Bread  Author, Nancy Gavilanes -  AT THIS LINK  -  https://odb.org/2024/05/12/leaving-a-spiritual-legacy  -  told of the author and her sister remembering, tho not fully understanding, how their mother came to know and embrace Christ as her Lord and the changes her faith brought about in their mom’s life, … especially in her devotion to studying God’s word.  But after some time, being exposed to their mother’s faith, the ODB author’s sister and ODB author came to follow their mom in receiving Christ as their Savior, … as well as their Dad as well, … making them over as a Christian family.      

Perhaps some of my readers here today had a mother whose legacy of faith impacted you and you following Christ.  I had good, church-going parents; but neither of them had a solid, Christ-following faith for me to follow.  But my coming to Christ as Savior later in life, ultimately led me to lead, first my father and  then my mother coming to surrender in faith to Christ.  It’s a legacy of love that came from God, the Father, thru Christ, the Son, Who imparted God’s Spirit as a legacy of faith which I now try to share with others.  What can we all do to pass along our legacy of faith in Christ to and for others to follow our Lord to glory.                                                                       

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, …for giving me Your saving and sanctifying grace to leave a legacy of faith to my family and others. 

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me today, … to leave a legacy of faith in You, Lord, for others to follow and lead others to You.     … Amen
