My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author - Leslie Koh … AT THIS LINK … told of coming across an abandoned, … hungry … cat, which the author tried to lead or lure to some food she had seen close by. But the author could not lure the cat to the food which was so easily available. And then the author realized how much this situation was like God making available His saving and sanctifying grace and we, who need it so desperately need it, are too proud to see it or we simply refuse to reach out and receive what we need.
Fellow Christian, who are here reading my words today, are we like the stray cat today? Are we like King David, writing of God’s promises in the Highlight passage or in the other support Scriptures provided above. Do we believe in God’s ever available, saving or sanctifying grace; and are we simply refusing to reach out and trust that our God wants provide us with all we need to follow Him to glory. How about it? As it says in Revelation 3:20 our Lord is knocking on the door of our hearts every day; and all we have to do is trust Him to open the door and fellowship and dine with Him. Let’s do it; and receive His grace today?
My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for providing all I need today …
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray, … again today, … that we all are willing to open the door to Your grace today … AMEN
