Devotional Song: ... GO TO THIS LINK ...   Please take the time to take in this song with music and lyrics with group called “Prairie Praises” singing  Clothed In Righteousness,  showing how we change to become more like Christ when we clothe ourselves in Him.

Highlight Passage: … Isaiah 61:10 … [NLT] …

10 I am overwhelmed with joy in the Lord my God! For He has dressed me with the clothing of salvation and draped me in a robe of righteousness. I am like a bridegroom dressed for His wedding or a bride with her jewels.

Isaiah describes how God’s chosen will feel and live when they take on and wear God’s robes of rigorousness.

My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread Author - Kirsten Holmberg AT THIS LINK      writes of the work and study of Rose Turner, a fashion psychologist at the London College of Fashion, who finds that what people choose to wear reflects who they see themselves being in life.  And if my fellow Christian readers have taken in the ODB entry, as well as meditated on the Scriptures shared above, I think we might, as I am today, be convicted to do all we can to choose to wear Christlike robes of righteousness rather than the rags of human sin with which we were born.

But isn’t it wonderful that we, … who are in Christ, … get to choose what we will wear today.   In our faith in Christ , we are given the right to put on Christ’s robes of sinless joy and shed our rags of selfish sin.  And so, I plan on putting on Christlikeness as my robes today; and then prayerfully again tomorrow.   … How about you?

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for robing me again today.

My Prayer TodayOh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray, … again today, … that all reading here will join me, …  to choose to put on Your robes today, Lord.     … AMEN
