My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author - Lisa M Samra … AT THIS LINK      …  related a true story of the people of Le Chambon, France, during WW2, taking in and sheltering in their homes as many as 5000 Jewish refugees, hiding and saving them, having been inspired by the town’s Pastor, Andre Troche, who had led them from a passage in Deuteronomy 10:19 (see Highlight passage).       

And the ODB entry today goes on to challenge all Christian readers to search their (our) hearts and see if any of us - reading here with me today - are open to showing our love to each other as God has shown His love by sending His Son to save us from our natural selfish ways.  I don’t know about you, my fellow Christian readers today; but I’ve got a long way to go to get to how the linked song and the Scriptures above are calling me to live.  What about you?
