Leaving our past sins in the "sea of forgetfulness" ...

My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author - Amy Boucher Pie … AT THIS LINK   … related a story about a friend, Julie, and her husband, who were shocked to learn of their daughter being caught shoplifting, … about which they forgave their daughter and helped her get mental health counseling.  And some months later, Julie and her husband had to show their daughter that they had truly forgiven her, just as God has forgiven and is able to forget our sinfulness.

But do we really grasp the extent of God’s faithfulness and His love and grace as He forgives, and even willingly forgets, our sin and He forgives us and casts our sin into the so-called “sea of forgetfulness.”  Will my readers join me in a hearty, ”Praise the Lord”, for His loving mercy and grace …  by forgiving our sins as far as the east is from the west … just as Casting Crowns sings in the linked song.

         

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for casting my sins into he sea of forgetfulness <b>(see photo)</b>.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray, … again today, … that all reading here will join me, …  to thank You, Lord, for the extent of Your forgiveness in casting my past sins into Your sea of forgetfulness.      … AMEN
