My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread Author - Dave Branon AT THIS LINK      relates the uplifting story of the faithful dog of a Japanese teacher who every day would meet his dog at the train station coming home from work.  But one day, the teacher died of a stroke at work and was not there to meet his dog.  And everyday, … for 10 years, …  the dog, with the watch care of neighbors, returned to the train station to meet his master.

And this story reminded the ODB author of Elisha’s dedication to his mentor and teacher, Elijah, whom Elisha had promised to follow the rest of Elisha’s life, … even knowing that one day Elijah would be carried off to heaven.   And today’s ODB entry relates to all Christians that we can - and must - follow the LORD … .everyday … all the way to glory.  That’s certainly my goal in life; … how about you?

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for calling me to follow You, Lord, … all the days of my life.

My Prayer TodayOh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray, … again today, … that all reading here will join me, …  to follow You, Lord, all the days of our lives.     … AMEN
