My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread Author - Winn Collier AT THIS LINK       Relates the true story of how a war broke out between France and Mexico in 1832 when several Mexican soldiers sampled the pastry in a French pastry shop, which broke out into a conflict which led to war between France and Mexico, … an armed conflict which started over foolishness.

How often do we let our anger and emotions get in the way of reason and wisdom in dealing with one another?   Today’s linked song and God’s word, … shared above, …  call on ALL Christians to choose reason over anger (see photo); and do all we can to humbly avoid angry foolishness and calling on reason to let us interact with others with Godly restraint.   We need to remember; … as others have said, …  that “anger” is only one letter away from “DANGER.”  So, what could we do today to avoid letting our anger dictate our choices?  I”ll leave that challenge to all of us … TODAY …. to let God’s Spirit guide our interactions with others.

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for calling me to seek Your peace and avoid letting my pride lead me to angry choices.

My Prayer TodayOh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray, … again today, … that all reading here will join me, …  to seek Your peace, Lord, and avoid anger in dealing with others.    … AMEN
