My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread Author - Bill Crowder AT THIS LINK  …  tells that there are several legends which are associated with the lovely, five-petaled flower, the “forget-me-not” (see photo).   One such legend that  had the flower being worried it would be overlooked by God when He was naming all the plants He had created; … and the flower cried out, “Forget-me-not,” … and God took that as the name for this little flower.

Perhaps this is silly little legend; but it does illustrate a very present human desire; and that is not to be overlooked or forgotten by God, … especially when any of us feel abandoned or challenged in our lives.  And even, …  not being a gambler, … I would bet that some reading here with me today may be like that little flower, crying out to God to not forget us.   And all of the elements of my devotional blog today, … the linked song, the Scriptures shared above, and the photo of the “forget-me-not” flowers, reassure God’s chosen - i.e., HIs born-again Christians, that He, … God …, will never forget, and ALWAYS protect, His chosen people.  I’m all in for that promise; … how about you?

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for ALWAYS watching over me.

My Prayer TodayOh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray, … again today, … that all reading here will join me, …  to thank You, Lord, for ALWAYS being there to watch over Your chosen people.     … AMEN
