My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread Author - Patricia Raybon  AT THIS LINK        shares a story of a young woman, named Meggie, who had been involved with substance abuse for over 10 years when she encountered - and was led to Ben, another recovering addict who was a counselor for a group called “Stone Soup,” which was a community of addicts, living and working together to encourage and edify one another, just as God’s word describes in the Scriptures shared above.

And oh how I agree with the premise and pertinent message from today’s ODB entry; … because, for almost three decades now, I’ve been called to lead a Christian ministry call “Battle Plan Ministry”, which helps Christian men seek to follow Christ by walking and lifting one anther up in Christian community - (see the ministry link at  battleplanministries.org ),  And I pray that all reading with me here are led and uplifted in your life, as Solomon wrote about in the Highlight passage, to live TOGETHER by sharing Christ’s love in the community of His church.

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for giving me Your power, Lord, to help other Christians work TOGETHER for Your glory.

My Prayer TodayOh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, … again today, Lord. … for giving us, Your followers, Your enabling grace,  to lift each other up today. … Amen
