My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author - Mike Wittmer  … AT THIS LINK        … tells of a young man, named Jack, who hated the academics of school but loved to learn how to build houses as he worked for his father in construction.   The story illustrates how we often let our passions dictate what we desire to learn and do in life.    

And the linked song and the Scriptures shared above show us that we need to be focused in life on learning God’s truth and His ways so as to be able to follow Him as HE leads us to His glory.   Oh how I pray that all of us reading here are seeking to learn God’s truth, primarily through His word, and following that truth as we live to serve our Lord day-by-day. 

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for showing me Your truth and Your ways through Your word.

 

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, … again today, Lord. … showing us THE WAY to go in life thru Your word, Lord.  … Amen
