My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author - Anne Cetas  … AT THIS LINK     … related how a young  (7 year old) son admired his dad’s trophy for running and winning a race (see photo).  But the father taught his son that one day he would have to win his own trophy, which is the essence of what God teaches each of us in God’s word, doesn’t He?  

So if my readers today have taken in the linked song and the Scriptures I’ve shared above, I’m sure that you, as I am, convicted to do all we can to follow Christ and run the race of life the trophy The Lord has waiting for us in glory.  Common!  Let’s run together and win for God’s glory.       

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for giving me Your strength to run to win Your race.  

 

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, … again today, Lord. … for waiting for us with Your trophy … to run and win Your race.   … Amen
