My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author,  Lisa M Samra … AT THIS LINK         … wrote about driving thru the western states of the USA in the strong winds out on the plains and noticing a pattern of homes built with trees protecting the homes from the strong winds (see photo).  And this pattern reminded the ODB author of what God’s word shares about the truth of God’s protective care over the Family of God.    

If my readers, as I have this morning, have taken in the linked song and meditated on the Scriptures shared in my blog today, i think you will come away fostered with trust and faith in God’s promise of protection and care thru all the challenges we face in life.  He’s there for us, like the trees protecting those home (again, see photo)!   Let’s trust God to shield us from the winds of life.       

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for shielding me from the winds of trouble in my life.

 

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, … again Lord. …for giving us a wind-break as we go through the strong winds of life. … Amen
