My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author,  Jennifer Benson Schuldt … AT THIS LINK   … related a story about a family traveling by car who heard tornado warnings on the radio and sought shelter in a hotel nearby and were safe from the storms.     

The story reminded the ODB author of how God’s word, like the Scriptures shared here today, promises that our God is the One we run to, seeking shelter from the “storms” of life.  The question is … do we trust in our God to be our “hiding place” (see photo) when we are confronted with or have warnings of the storms of life?  Personally, I trust in the truth of God’s word and the comfort of prayer to be my hiding place when I sense storms brewing in my life. What about you? …  Where do you run for protection?  …  Is God your hiding place today? … Common!!  Join me.  Let’s run and hide in Him today!

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, … again Lord. …for being that place we run to when we face the storms of life.  … Amen
