My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author,  Xochitl Dixon … AT THIS LINK      … relates how a young friend, Kayla, kept a prayer box, which had “Give It to God” written on each side of the box.  And kayla related to her friend, Chantal,  that she wondered if God really heard all the prayers which were in the box.  But Chantal handed Kayla her Bible and encouraged Kayla that God promises to hear and deal with any/all prayers we bring to The Lord.   

That faith in God’s promises, given to those who believe in the truth of God’s word, gives all Christians His peace and joy, doesn’t it?  It sure does for me.  That’s why you find me here - every morning - being uplifted with God’s joy, just like Cece Winans sings in the linked song and God’s word - in the Scriptures above assures me, as I search it out to start each day.  What about you, … fellow Christiaan; … where do you find God’s peace and joy?

My Thanksgiving; … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for bringing me Your joy thru Your word … each morning, Lord.
