My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, James Banks… AT THIS LINK … wring about the eternal power of God’s word, The Bible, telling of a Bible found in the rubble after the worst fire in US history, which took place in a town named Peshtigo in northwest Wisconsin in 1871. Though everything around the Bible was destroyed by the raging fire, … this Bible, which is depicted in the attached photo, remained in tact and readable.
The story reminds all of us of God’s promises, in His word, like those linked for readers today, … that God’s word will endure forever. I hope all readers have taken in the linked song and the Scriptures above. Personally, I’m here again today, journaling with the help of Our Daily Bread, which leads me EVERY DAY with God’s Word. God’s truth means EVERYTHING to me, just like David sang about in Psalm 119. How important is God’s word to you?
My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for bringing me Your love and enabling grace thru Your word, Lord.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, … again Lord. …for Your promises that Your word is Your eternal power. … Amen
