My Devotional Journal</u>: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Dave Brannon … AT THIS LINK … relates a personal story of having to clean up all the debris, … i.e., leaves and tree limbs, … from a storm which blew the debris into the ODB Author’s yard, even though the author had no trees to produce all the leaves and limbs in his yard after the storm. And during the cleanup, the author was convicted by knowing how God’s word commands us to “love our neighbors as ourselves.”
And if my readers have taken the time to listen to the linked song and meditate on the Scriptures shared above, i’m pretty sure that you all will be as convicted as I am that we can certainly do more to openly show Christian love to all those we call “our neighbors,” … which, of course. is ALL others in our lives. How can we go out today and share God’s love and His grace with our “neighbors?” I plan on putting that at the top of my “to do” list today. How about you?
My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for showing us how to love others as we love ourselves.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, … again Lord. …for modeling and showing us the kind of love we need to share with others today. … Amen
