My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Katara Patton …  USE THS LNK -       … relates a personal story of getting to an airport kiosk to print out her boarding pass and realizing she didn’t have the flight number because she had left her phone in the Uber car which had dropped her off at the airport.  Then, when she used her laptop to contact her husband, in an email, she learned that her husband had already realized her loss of the cell phone and had taken care of the situation, taking away all her worries.     

The circumstances helped the ODB author to realize that we Christians need to take our worries to God rather than let our cares overwhelm us with fear or anxiety.  That’s certainly the message of God’s word today in the Scriptures shared above as well as the linked song.  Right now, I have some personal health concerns; and I’m reminded today to take them to God, trusting that He cares for me and will give me His peace.  Maybe you need to do the same thing today.

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … Lord … for being there to take my concerns today … as You do everyday.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... Every day, Lord, You take our worries and give us Your grace.  … Amen
