My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread Author,  Kristen Holmberg  …  USE THS LNK      wrote about William Shatner, the Star Wars star, being allowed to fly into outer space in 2021.   And upon his return, Shatner reflected that he had thought it would be majestic and glorious; but actually, Shatner felt the flight gave him a sense of coldness and emptiness, which in turn gave him deeper appreciation of all that he knew and loved about earth.

What Shatner sensed, by being in space and seeing earth, was a call to worship God Who created, not only earth but all we now can see in God’s universe.   It’s what God’s word, shared above, declares.   The question for us today is whether we worship the God Who created all we see around us.   I definitely do!   How about You.

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … Lord …for showing us Your glory  by what we see You have created.

My Prayer TodayOh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... Thank You, Lord, for giving us the opportunity to appreciate and worship what You have created in all we see around us.  .   … Amen
