My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Kenneth Peterson… AT THIS LINK   tells of how Fredrick Lehman in 1917, beset with deep financial woes, wrote the hymn, The Love of God, taking a poem written on the wall in a prison by a desperate prisoner as the third verse (see/hear the linked song above, expressing how God’s love is higher than the heavens and deeper than the oceans and ALWAYS there for believers, … even in our darkest times.

Ad if my readers - as I do - believe in the truth of the Scriptures above, we know that, no matter where we go  - or what we encounter, God’s love is ALWAYS AND FOREVER there for us, just as it was for King David in that cave, escaping the peril and pursuit of King Saul, when David penned Psalm 57.  And I pray that we all believe in - and are experiencing the never-ending - ALWAYS PRESENT - power of God’s love.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for Your love, Lord, … which is with me here as I write this today and will be there for me tomorrow.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to thank You, Lord, for Your ever-present love.     Amen
