My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Karen Huang … AT THIS LINK       … shared a story about a woman, named Letty, who was known at her work site for working very fast, trying to avoid others, having been deeply hurt in the past by the condescension of others.  But when a fellow worker reached out and befriended Letty, she began to heal. 

That’s what Jesus did for the leper in the ODB Highlight passage (shared above), didn’t He?  And that’s what He’ll do for any of us who need His healing touch.  And that’s what He calls all, who know Him as Lord and Savior, … calling on us to reach out to others (see photo), as we read in God’s word shared above.  That’s what I pray I’ll do today when God gives me the opportunity.   How about you?

My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Tom Felton … AT THIS LINK      … tells about a construction crew, while digging to install an expensive drain project, uearthed a valuable archeological treasure, … a buried ship from the 1800s, which revealed a lot about the inhabitants of that region and  age, … the story illustrating how we can gain wisdom when we’re willing to dig for it.  

And that’s why you find me here, each morning, using Our Daily Bread and God’s word, … and praying that God will show me The way, … HIS WAY, … to go in life.  And for sure .., God’s word reveals to any/all who’re willing to dig deeply in His truth to find His gems of wisdom and understanding. My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Alyson Kieda  … AT THIS LINK    … related a story of how the author’s Pastor, at a fall men’s retreat, took her son to a cabin in the woods where a replica of the lost Ark of the Covenant had been placed for them to bring the copy back to the retreat gathering.  It was a way for the Pastor to illustrate what David did in 2Samuel 6 (see Highlight passage); and that is to bring God’s presence in the Ark of the Covenant back to the City David from where it had been captured and stored.

It was a way for the ODB author to teach the reality that God’s presence now resides in the hearts of any/all born-again Christians who’ve surrendered their hearts, believing in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  A little over 40 years ago, I brought God’s “Ark” into my heart. And now He resides in me … ALWAYS and FOREVER.   Is He in Your heart?   If not, I’m here - at billbb13@icloud.com - to bring God’s Ark to your heart.

And that led the Author of the ODB entry today to uncover and share the biblical truths in the Scriptures below to help any/all Christians to rely on God’s strength to overcome our fears and weaknesses.

And to my fellow Christian readers, i’m also one who was able to overcome many past weaknesses by learning and applying the truths found in God’s word and trusting in the Lord’s strength when I need it in my life.  I’m stopping to pray - right now - that you will join me in relying on God’s strength when we’re feeling weak, … which is right now for me.   How about you?
