My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author,  Patricia Raybon … AT THIS LINK t       … tells of being in a hotel which was equipped with motion sensors under the bed to turn on lights under the bed if a hotel guest got up at night to prevent falling in the darkness.  And the story is an apt illustration of what God does for born-again believers when they (we) choose to follow His light rather than live in the darkness of our sin nature.     

And, as I said and wrote yesterday, …  if my readers have taken the time to listen to the linked song and meditate on the Scriptures shared above, I know all fellow Christians are in agreement that, as in the attached photo, we are to seek and follow the light of Christ in our lives as He leads us to glory. That’s why I’m here again this morning seeking to follow the light of His word today …. and again tomorrow.   Are you with me?

My Thanksgiving:… Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for giving us Your light to follow out of our human darkness.

 

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, … again Lord. …forgiving us Your perfect light, i.e., Your word, to light our patch to glory.  … Amen
