My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author,  Matt Lucas … AT THIS LINK      … tells of the ODB author’s close friend, Sally,, who wanted to put on a birthday party for her close friend.  However, Sally.was unemployed at the time and had to look into her refrigerator and her panty to come up with a creative menu to provide for the birthday party for Sally’s friend.     

The way Sally made a way where there seemed to be no way reminded the ODB author of how God used Elijah, in the Highlight Passage, to provide for the widow.  And if my readers have taken in this story and the other Scriptures above, we should all see that our God provides our needs when we feel that  we can’t make a go of things.  

Right now, I’m going thru a time of not being able to see as well as I need to to read this copy on my computer without using a magnifier app in my cell phone.  But, …  I did discover that I can do what it  takes, … using what I have,  … to get my journal published this morning - i.e., the text that you’re reading right now.   Do you see what I’m seeing … that  our God has made a way for me today, just like He did for that widow in the Highlight passage.  And let us all praise our Lord for being our provider … ALWAYS!!!       

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for showing me a way today when I didn’t think there was a way to get these words on this page.

 

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, … again Lord. … for showing those of us who love You that You will provide a way when there seems to be no way.  … Amen
