My Devotional Journal:</b> Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Winn Collier  … AT THIS LINK     … related the true story of how a tugboat sunk off the coast of Nigeria, killing 11 crew members.   However one of the crew, the boat’s cook, Harrison Odjegba Okene, found a breathing space under the hull of the sunken vessel; and after his flashlights went out, Okene was in the dark for three days until he saw the light from a rescue diver who had come to recover the assumed bodies of the crew.   According tot he ODB author, … one can only imagine the emotions and relief that Okene felt when he saw that light, dispelling the darkness he had been in for those three days.

But as the ODB author brought out, we, who have come out from the darkness of our sin by seeking the light of God’s grace, have been saved to walk in Christ’s light FOREVER.   I’m one of those whom our Lord, came to shine His light and show me His way to glory.   Have you seen His light and are you following it …all the way to be in God’s eternal light FOREVER?

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … Lord … for giving me Your light to follow out of the darkness of myself and our world.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, Lord. … for sending us The Light of the World, our Lord Jesus, to lead us to Your glory.   … Amen
