My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread Author, Lisa M Samra …  USE THS LNK -      The ODB entry today shows how many countries around the world have official holidays for the people of those nations to express gratitude for the way those people live.

That was what was going on in the Highlight passage when David brought the Ark of the Covenant back to Jerusalem and David sung a hymn of praise and thanksgiving to God for His protection, provision, and promises to God’s chosen people.  And that ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE is also expressed over and over again by the Apostle Paul in the Scriptures shared above, calling on fellow Christians to hold on to thankful hearts as we continually have gratitude for God’s mercy and His enabling grace.

Personally, I’m so thankful for what God has done … FOR ME … and for all He has done, … is doing … and will ALWAYS do for His chosen family.   Are you feeling that gratitude today?  Oh, how I pray so!

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … Lord … for all you have done to save and sanctify me.

My Prayer TodayOh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... We come … again today …  with thankful hearts for all you are doing to lead us to Your glory.   … Amen
