My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Karen Pimpo  … AT THIS LINK      … told of a young woman, named Kat, who dropped out of school as a teenager when she became pregnant.   Later in life, when Kat was the mother of three, she developed a dream, she felt from God, to become a cosmetologist; and she exercised her faith to pursue that dream.  

My fellow readers, and I pray my Christian friends, as I write out my thoughts on this morning - another quiet-time with God at age 81 - I’ve learned that  God desires that His followers (“disciples”) need to learn to be TEACHABLE after they (we) are AVAILABLE to follow HIs ways rather than our own ways.  And if YOU know that you’ve been saved by God’s grace and your faith in the Lord, then I pray you, as I have, are taking in God’s truth (in the Scriptures above) ,  and learning that we, who seek to follow God’s way (as Don Moen sings in the linked song) …  and seek after God’s wisdom rather than leaning to follow our own - SELFISH - ways - are up for more of that today; … I AM; …how about you?  

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … Lord … for calling me to follow Your ways as You lead me to Your glory.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, Lord. … for showing us how to follow Your ways thru Your word.   … Amen
