Oct 18 2025 … Prayerful Posture …

Devotional Song: ... GO TO THIS LINK ...    and PLEASE take the time to listen to music and lyrics, from Chris Tomlin singing We Fall Down, … showing how we Christians need to fall down in prayer to our King Jesus.

My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread Author, Tom Felton …  USE THS LNK -        tells of a young Christian man, named Jimmy, who desired to have a quiet tim with God each morning.    However, a chronic condition which Jimmy had, caused great pain as he tried to concentrate to pray or study God’s word. But when Jimmy got down on his knees one morning, he discovered that that pain almost disappeared and he could concentrate on praying and studying God’s word.

And apparently Jimmy’s situation reminded the ODB author of how King Jehoshaphat led God’s people to humble themselves in prayer to God as they faced the impending attack from enemy forces advancing on God’s Temple (see Highlight passage).  And if one takes in the linked song and the Scriptures shared above seriously, I think my readers will see that we all need to cast aside our fears and temporal concerns and take them - with humble and trusting hearts - to our God in prayer, … our God Who desires to show His mercy and grace every day.  And I’m praying we all do just that today… and again tomorrow.

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … Lord … for showing me how much You give me Your love when I bring my cares to You as I am here today.

My Prayer TodayOh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... Every day You share Your love and grace with us when we come to You with humble hearts in prayer.  … Amen
