My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Amy Boucher Pye … NO LINK AVAILABLE ONLINE for October 7, 2025 - See hard copy booklet - … The ODB Author today told the story of how Biddy Chambers, the wife of Pastor and Bible teacher, Oswald Chambers, was devastated to learn, on Dec 20,1940, that all the copies of her husband’s books, stored in London, had been destroyed by Nazi bombing. But she remembered her late husband’s teaching that troubles would come … but God would forever overcome the world’s peril.
And that’s a tough faith lesson, isn't it? But as Jesus taught, <b>in the Highlight passage,</b> we have to hold on - in faith - when the troubles and perils of this world come into our lives. I’m going through some of those right now. Maybe you are too! Hold on, my friends! God will show the way! … HE WILL !!!
