My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Xochitl Dixon, AT THIS LINK relates that others looking at her husband and their son often marveled at how much our son resembled his dad ... certainly physically, …  but also in mannerisms and behavior (see photo).  

That, of course, could be a good or a bad thing, of course, ... depending on the way the dad lived his life.    If my readers have taken in the linked song and the Scriptures above, I would assume that we realize that we live our lives as called Christians to be and become like Christ. And in that pursuit, we can be confident, as was the Apostle Paul (see 1Cor 11:1), that others - certainly our children - can follow in our footsteps as we walk to follow Christ.  And I pray we do just that today ... and tomorrow.   

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, Lord, … for showing us the way - thru Your word - to follow You so that we can lead others - certainly our children - to follow You. 

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to follow You on our walk today as we pray we can lead others in our lives to You.   … Amen
