Devotional Song: ... GO TO THIS LINK ... Please take the time to take in song and lyrics from The Martins singing … The Promise Poignantly singing of how all born-again Christians experience the fruitfulness of God’s promises - if/when - we live, knowing and trusting in those promises.

… Peter shows those who have been transformed by God’s saving grace that we must live under God’s wondrous promises to partake of His sanctifying grace.

God’s promise, thru Isaiah, that God will be with us no matter what we go thru.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare[a] and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

God’s promise of a glorious living hope for His people. That’s us Christians too!!

Reference Passage: … John 14:1-3, 27 [ESV] ... USE THIS LINK …

Jesus promises His disciples (and us) that He has prepared a home for us in heaven, ,,, a place of eternal peace.

Reference Passage: … Philippians 4:19 [ESV] …

19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Paul shows fellow Christians God’s promise that He will provide us with all that we need.

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Monica La Rose, AT THIS LINK … tells of a prison program from Bard College which helped prisoners in a NY high security prison find hope and dignity, promising them a transforming education while in prison.

We too, in the shackles of our sin nature, have a wondrous hope for our eternal future, with the promises of God to never leave us and to provide us with all we need in this Christian life (see Scriptures above). The questions become …

#1 Do we know God’s promises from His word?

#2 Do we believe those promises?

#3 Do we live by those promises?

Because if we do - and I pray we do, … we will live entirely different lives IN CHRIST than we would on our own and in the flesh.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, Lord, … for Your promises, which I live to recognize and realize everyday.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to live undergirded and uplifted by the promises of God. … Amen
