Reference Passage: … 1Timothy 2:2 [NLT] …

Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.

Paul teaches Timothy (and us) that Christians should pray for all in authority to help us live in  peace with one another.      .

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Monica La Rose… AT THIS LINK   quotes from a poem entitled, ”Rest,”, which shows that there should be no separation of our pursuit of peace while we live and work, day-by-day.

And isn’t that what is being taught in this ODB entry today, … that we Christians should do all we can to live lives which pursue and realize God’s love by our resting and living out the love of God.  Really when we love God and live lives worthy of His love, we will be basking in the peace of God as Steven Curtis Chapman sings in the linked song.

Oh how I pray that for all of those reading here with me today.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for the peace I find when I rest in Your love, my Lord.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to pursue Your peace, Lord, by resting in Your love and sharing that love with others. .      Amen
