This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says: I will bring a terrible disaster on this place, and the ears of those who hear about it will ring!

… God, thru Jeremiah, prophesies to God’s people that in their lives the Lord would bring a disaster on God’s people for their stubborn disobedience.

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Poh Fang Chia … AT THIS LINK   writes about early in his work life how the ODB author used to dread going into work on Mondays after a joyful weekend, … until finally he came to realize how God - thru His word - teaches that all things we encounter are given to us - yes, even Mondays - for our good and for God’s glory.

If my readers have taken in the linked song and meditated on the Scriptures above, I pray we all are coming into today - a Monday - with grateful hearts and looking for ways that we can thankfully serve our Lord for giving us this Monday and all the days which He will give us into the future.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me today - this Monday - to serve You in any way I can.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to look for ways to make this Monday a day we are grateful to serve You, Lord.     Amen
