My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, James Banks … AT THIS LINK  tells of how His uncle, a dairy farmer, ran a rope line from brass rings tied to the barn door from his home to follow during the winter, allowing his uncle to get to the cows for milking when there was a blizzard.

This story and the ODB entry today asks us what we follow when we encounter the “blizzards” of life?   And personally, as evidenced by my posting these journal entries DAILY for the past 13 years here on this blog site, I’m surrendered to use God’s word as my life-line to follow when I encounter a blizzard and have trouble seeing where to go.

And if my readers have taken in the scriptures above and believe their truth, as I do, you will be using God’s word as your daily life-line … just like the farmer, in the ODB entry, used that rope to lead him to his cows in the blizzard.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me the life-line of Your word to follow today and onward to tomorrow.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to use the life-line of Your word, Lord, to follow as we encounter the blizzards of life.     Amen
