Reference Passage: …  Proverbs 12:15, 14:16 [NLT] … USE THIS LINK

… God, thru Solomon, teaches to live wisely, seeking advice from others, rather than foolishly moving ahead with recklessness.

Reference Passage: …  Ephesians 4:1 [NLT] …

Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God.

… Paul begs fellow Christians to live lives worthy of their (our) calling as born-again Christians.

Reference Passage: …  Galatians 6;9-10 [NLT] … USE THIS LINK

… Paul desires that those who who follow Him to follow Christ never grow wearing from wisely doing good in Christ’s name and for God’s glory.

Reference Passage: …  James 1:5-6 [NLT] …

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.

… James shows that seeking God’s wisdom, we must seek with undivided faith.

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Glenn Packiam … AT THIS LINK    told of how a young teenager brought a cassette tape home with modern Christian rock music, which his father, converted to Christ from a Hindu background and who favored more traditional worship music.  Yet the father wisely told his boy to listen to the modern contemporary music for a week and if it brought his boy closer to Christ, God’s wisdom would have shown his boy that the music was okay, … very wise advice from a father seeking after God’s will.

Often we’re confronted with situations like the father faced, where God’s word and His will may not be so clear for us.  Well, if you’ve taken in the linked song and the Scriptures above, God’s word is clear that the Lord wants us to do all we can, by seeking clarity from God’s word and seeking wisdom from fellow Christians who’re wiser in God’s ways.

I’m sure we all want to follow God’s will and seek to follow His ways today.  And I’m praying we do just that, … seeking the Lord’s wisdom rather than following our own feelings and becoming fools.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for shining Your light of wisdom for me to follow.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to do all we can today to make wise choices. Lord, by following Your word and those who wisely follow Your ways.     Amen
