My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author,  Nancy Gavilanes … AT THIS LINK    … related a true story of two friends using a navigation APP to find the shortest route from where they were in Las Vegas to Los Angeles, … their destination.  However, following the APP may have been the shortest route; but it led them into rough and dangerous conditions in the Mohave desert, even to damage to their vehicle which had to be towed and repaired..  

The point of the ODB entry today was, of course, that we need to have reliable and trustworthy information to go thru life as we are called to follow our Lord.  And that leading needs to come from following God’s Spirit, Whom our Lord has given to lead us in life, … primarily by following God’s word, which is clearly laid out in the Scriptures provided above.  The question is … will we decide to follow God’s Spirit Who will lead us today? Or are we going to take our own way in life? Personally, I’m here today, using God’s word - following His Spirit as my “GPS” - to lead the way?  How about you/      

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for giving me Your perfect “GPS”, i.e., Your word, to follow Your way in life.

 

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, … again Lord. …for giving us Your Word and Your Spirit to follow Your way today and tomorrow.   … Amen
