My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Alyson Kieda …  USE THIS LINK       relates a true story about a young man, named Pablo, who was raised by an alcoholic/abusive father, causing him to leave home as a teenager and ultimately live to be married and have three children and reliving the failings of his father by becoming an alcoholic himself.  Years later after his own marriage failed and his children were estranged, he found Christ and was led to sobriety; and years later found reconciliation with at least one of his children, …  and finding hope for getting close with his other two children in his hope found in Christ.

I personally have experienced the hope that comes from my faith in Christ.  And I’m hoping - and stopping to pray - that all reading here have taken in the linked song and the Scriptures above; and are believing in God’s truth and are finding the hope that we have in our relationship with Christ.   Are you with me?  

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You … for being my hope.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, … for providing all who seek after You in faith with the hope of Your resurrection and the promise of Your glory.   … Amen
