My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Lisa M Samra …  USE THIS LINK        tells of Academy Award actor, Denzel Washington, encouraging young actors to develop the consistent habit of praying to God each morning by putting their shoes under the bed to remind them to pray when they got up in the morning and had to get their shoes out from under the bed.   

And that insistence on the power of consistent prayer was certainly the subject of today’s ODB entry, the linked song, and all of the Scriptures shared above.  So, after my readers - that’s you - have taken in all of that, … I don’t know about you; but I was convicted that I need to develop a more consistent and disciplined prayer life.   How about you?   

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You … for calling on me to pray to You - with a thankful heart - more often.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, … for Your call to pray to You regularly … with a thankful heart.  … Amen
