Reference Passage #1 - Psalm 119 [NKJV] … USE THIS LINK
… What the power of God’s word did for one believer, … the Author of Psalm 119.

Reference Passage #2 - Isaiah 55:11 [NKJV] … USE THIS LINK
… The power of God’s word when it goes out to change a life for His purposes.

Reference Passage #3 - Romans 10:9-13 [NKJV] … USE THIS LINK
… From the Highlight passage above, the Apostle John had obviously led Gaius to Christ, … Gaius having done what the Paul wrote about in this passage.

My Journal for Today:  Our Daily Bread author, David McCasland, told of some friends who conducted home Bible studies for teenagers when the ODB author was young. He wrote: This was a serious Bible study that included lesson preparation and memorizing Scripture. Surrounded by an atmosphere of friendship, joy, and laughter, we challenged each other and the Lord changed our lives during those days.

Later McCasland, the OBD author, reported how much joy the couple who opened their home for the study of God’s truth received, knowing that they had a small part in God using their hospitality to shape the lives of those young minds/hearts through God’s word.

And I can remember the twelve years I spent with a mentor, who turned my mind/heard from an obsession for the flesh to an obsession for God’s truth. That’s the effect that God’s word has on a young, immature mind; and in the highlight passage above, we read of the joy that the Apostle John had in seeing how one such life, the life of Gaius, had been changed by his walk in the truth of God

My friend, that’s why you find me here EVERY DAY, digging deeply into God’s truth and trying to share my perceptions of His word with beloved ones like you. And my prayer today is that those who’re serious about walking in God’s truth will be touched by what God’s Spirit has given to me to share here.

My Prayer Today:  O, Heavenly Father, … Lord, I’m here; … praying that You will take these truths and reshape the lives of those who seriously follow them. Amen
