… And our Creator, God, made it all for us!

My Devotional Journal: Today's ODB author, Alyson Kieda, referred to images all around us to illustrate how God’s greatness is declared in His creation. The ODB author wrote: Some days seem to have a theme running through them. Recently I had one of those days. Our pastor began his sermon on Genesis 1 with two minutes of breathtaking, time-lapse photography of blossoming flowers. Then, at home, a scroll through social media revealed numerous posts of flowers. Later on a walk in the woods, the wildflowers of spring surrounded us—trilliums, marsh marigolds, and wild iris. [see the attached photo]

With all the ugliness we see on the evening news; and the physical pollution which can surround us at times, we can so often miss God’s BIG PICTURE; and that can be seen when we take the time, as the OBD author depicted or the two songs linked today declare, … that we can look around us, … in the beauty of wildflowers [see photo] … or in the crashing waves on the shoreline, … or, most certainly, in the birth of a baby; and we can see the glory of what God created just for us. And my friends it is as God declared [in today’s highlight passages] … VERY GOOD! … Yes; … it’s REALLY GOOD!!

So, .. how about we all stop and look around us today and consciously see the glory of our God; and then thank Him for His creation.

My Prayer Today: Abba Father, … Lord, … Thank You for the beauty and glory of what You created … just for me! … Amen
